The Sri Lanka College of Oncologists (SLCO) in joint collaboration with The South Asian Federation of Oncologists (SAFO) proudly presents the Annual Academic Sessions & SAFO Congress 2026. Tagline: Improving Care. Enhancing Lives Theme: Quality. Equity. Impact. Advancing Patient-Centered Oncology Care This landmark 3-day regional oncology congress gathers distinguished international faculty, regional oncologists, surgical and radiation specialists, and trainees to deliberate on contemporary paradigms in precision radiation oncology, targeted systemic therapies, complex surgical interventions, cancer survivorship, and equitable healthcare delivery across South Asia. The congress features hands-on pre-congress workshops, interactive keynote and plenary addresses, multidisciplinary case-based discussions, research poster and oral presentations, and specialized breakfast academic seminars.

Celebrating Women in Oncology: From Gaps to Action is a special policy dialogue organised by the Sri Lanka College of Oncologists (SLCO) in conjunction with Breast Cancer Awareness Month 2026. The programme will bring together oncology professionals and key stakeholders to review the current landscape of breast cancer care in Sri Lanka, identify priority gaps, undertake a SWOT analysis, and develop and prioritise practical recommendations for strengthening breast cancer services. The programme will also recognise the invaluable contribution of women to the development of oncology in Sri Lanka, honouring their legacy while inspiring future generations. The key recommendations emerging from the dialogue will contribute towards the development of a practical roadmap for improving breast cancer care in Sri Lanka.
